Our school is participating in the Green-Schools award, we will examine the impact of litter and waste on the environment and explore practical ways to reduce the amount of litter and waste produced by our school.
Our school clean up
We went on a clean up as part of our green schools.
We started at 9:45 am. We wore reflective jackets and gloves,
which we got from the Donegal Co. Council. The teachers split
us into 2 groups. Some parents came to help too. In my group
there  was Eunan, Deaglán, Reece, Lars, Brian and myself. Mrs Smith and Eunans  mum came to help clean up. We went to the wood road. We found glass  bottles, paper, plastic and boxes. We got 27 bags of rubbish. The other  class went down the point. The other group went up past Ulster bank.We  got crisps and drinks when we came to the school.
