World Book Day
Yesterday 6th March was World Book Day. We participated in a book project. We left the school at 9:45. On the bus we sang songs. We arrived at The Dolmen Centre at about 10:oo. When we went in there were photos of us holding the book of Donegal Folk Tales. That was where we got the story. We went into the hall and sat in our designated place. Meentindea started us off with St. Patrick in Donegal. Then Scoil Mhuire, Gortnacart, The Wood School and then Brackey. Then it was our turn. We we Croidhe Na Féile with St. Conals. I was a narrator. We did our bit and everyone clapped. Then the author of the book; Joe Brennan told us a story about a wide mouthed frog. After that he answered some questions. Next he told us a riddle. Nobody could get it. He was very good and very funny. We got bars and drinks after that! Overall I really enjoyed it and I hope we do it again!
