The Cumann Na MBunscoil Girls Football Final

We were so excited. We were in  the Cumann Na mBunscoil girls' football final. Nothing big apart from  the fact THAT IT WAS THE SMALL SCHOOLS COUNTY FINALS! The team: Miranda,  Kaitlin (cpt), Áine, Holly, Marie, Amy, Éimear (cpt). Since we have a  small school we had to join up with Gortnacart School (thankfully!) were  Miranda and Kaitlin went. The finals were in Dungloe GAA pitch. We were  to play 3 games. Scoil Mhuire, Lochanuir and Brackey. First up Scoil  Mhuire. We beat them by 20 points. Then Lochanuir was lining up for a  game. We're not sure what the score was because we stopped counting  after a while!! Then came Brackey from Ardara too. AND GUESS WHAT????  Lucky us we beat them too!! We were very tired from playing three games,  one after another. We forgot all about that for a minute. We  respectfully shook hands with the losing Brackey side then jumped round  the pitch in joy. We were ecstatic!! We lined up for the presentation.  We had to wait for the boys first. What happened to ladies first???!!   After what seemed forever it was our turn. The deserving captains,  Éimear and Kaitlin, went up for the prize. We celebrated all the way  home!  It only occurred to us that we were so tired on the way home. We  very nearly fell asleep on the bus back home.
