Our big clean up
Last Thursday, the 4th of May we  had our annual clean up. We broke up into groups. We had high visibility  jackets. We had gloves. We had grabbers. We had plastic bags. The road  was fairly quiet. We all collected lots of bags. Shane found a site for  sale sign. Ethan's daddy was on his tractor taking silage out. I seen  him three times. My mammy helped out. Amy stepped into muck and got  covered. The parents got light refreshments. The farmers were very busy.  I picked up three coca cola cans and one bottle. The bin men came to  take the rubbish. I had so much fun.

The Annual clean up
Last Thursday the 4th of May we  did our 3rd annual clean up. We wore high visibility jackets, plastic  gloves and some of us had grabbers. The council supplied those. We broke  up into small groups. There were a lot of parents to help out, and  there was even a granddad there too. We found a computer and a kitchen  sink. The teachers said lift no glass or heavy items. Lara fell and hurt  her wrist. A butterfly landed on Siún. It was great fun on the clean-up  day. We had refreshments after in the school. There was juice, crisps,  sweets and orange and apple pieces. I was in a group with Ethan, Patrick  Mc Girr and we were supervised by MRS Mc Girr. Then we saw Carmel's  group. Patrick Gallagher got tired. So I went with Carmel's group and  Patrick went with Mrs Mc Girr. Altogether we did not collect as much as  other years.
