Our Day of Action

The children of Crannog Buí National School have done a Halloween dress up for all of the parents. The parents enjoyed it I think…… We all had a good bit of fun. All of the costumes were all made by the parents. Also we tried to save wasting water like e.g. don't have the water tap on when you are brushing your teeth.
In my opinion I would say James Byrne's was the best costume he made a water butt like the one we have outside for collecting rain for the watering can which we use for the flowers. It was a good costume his Mum put a lot of work into it and I would say it took a lot of time to make it.

Our Day of Action

On the 24th of October we had our annual water theme Halloween dress up day. The children and the parents had to make a costume to show how to save water. There were a lot of good costumes this year. There were water butts, showers, washing machine, watering cans and taps. There was a lot of time and effort put into the costumes. After 1 o' clock we had a fashion show. All the parents came and watched the fashion show. We showed the parents how to save water through our themed ideas.

Our Day of Action

Our school had our annual water themed dress up on the 24th of October. There were lots of good costumes this year. There were lots of help from there mums and dads. There was a lot of effort this year. We had a lot of fun making our costumes For example Ellie Mc Hugh was a garden full of flowers she was watering the flower with a little watering can. There were showers, water butts, washing machine and dishwashers. Áine, Holly, Shane and Daryl did a little play on the water charges. Áine and Holly were protesting, Shane was Phil Hogan and Daryl was Phil Hogan's bodyguard. We hope that our parents learnt our massage about saving water.
