Annual Fancy Dress
Our Halloween Fancy Dress
Our Halloween dress-up was on October 25th  this year. Our theme was water, as we are doing it in our green school  project. Lots of parents turned up. The costumes were brilliant. There  were dishwashers and washing machines, water tanks and watering cans, a  house with rainwater collection tanks and sinks, pipes and bathtubs,  taps and a river that was being polluted by oil and petrol. That was  what our group was. Éimear was dressed as a guard arresting us; Áine and  I were dressed as the polluters. Jack was dressed as the camera man  with Marie trying to interview people; Daryl was dressed as the woman  who told the guards (all the while exclaiming "Ah! I broke a nail!"!!!)   Overall the day was a huge success. There was no winner because all the  costumes were equally brilliant. Thanks to all who turned out and  helped on the day.

In October 2013 we did our annual Halloween dress up. Lots of parents turned up to see the costumes. Our theme this year is water so we had to have our thinking caps on. We made various outfits from man different objects; we tried to recycle as much as we could so that we were not wasting any material. There were many variations of costumes; from Buildings to bathtubs, Gardaí to "Toxic wasters". With 27 different costumes, the judges had a hard decision on the winner, so to boost the confidence of everybody, there was no overall winner. Everyone was a winner on the day.
With creative imagination all from the junior and senior rooms overwhelmed the teachers and viewing parents. This day was a success overall.
